What is gold plated jewelry?
The term gold plated is used in different and sometimes misleading ways, which can be quite confusing. Gold plated really just means that a layer of gold is poured over a base material. This doesn't say much about the materials used underneath the gold layer. The quality of gold plated earrings therefore varies enormously, because the base is sometimes made of a base metal such as a brass or steel.

Be careful with perfume, make-up and other care products, as these products can also cause the gold color to fade.
- In addition, it is wise to store gold plated earrings in a jewelry box when you're not wearing them. This way you protect your earrings from harmful external influences. For this you can for example use the jewelry box in which you received your Eline Rosina earrings, which is very handy :)
